We had a great experience with Nick and his team on the repair and maintenance of our furnace and radiators. I called multiple companies that told me they couldn’t come out for a month+ and Nick came by the next day to take a look at our furnace and they started the work the following day. For various reasons having to do with the particular space in our house where our old water heater was located, we were having a really tough time finding a company that could replace our tank water heater with an electric tankless. Tankless Flushing Maintenance and Service

How often should you decale/flush a tankless?

A tankless water heater should be descaled/flushed every 1-2 years. It will depend on the use and quality of the water. This process will remove any sediment that has built up in the system.

Aside from a descale, What else is recommended?

We recommend cleaning of the air filter, condensate trap and inspection of all internal parts. We also recommend an overall inspection of the venting, gas line and water piping.

Can anyone maintain a tankless water heater?

Yes. The flushing/descale can be a DIY. But we recommend a professional certified Navien technician perform the full service.
